Intuitive Training Workshops
The prose poem, Desiderata, said, “Be at peace with god, whatever you conceive “him” to
be.” We have different conceptions of deity.
Some of us conceive of a higher being that is a single, human-like, male deity (like the
Jewish, Christian, and Muslim conceptions).
Others will conceive a single, human-like, female deity (like the Goddess of earth-based
spiritualities).
Others conceive of many gods (polytheism). Or of the divinity in all things (indigenous
cultures).
Others conceive of an impersonal force that guides our destinies (perhaps connected to
the movements of the planets).
Others conceive of highly-evolved spirit guides helping us here and charting our destinies
between a series of lives spent on this physical plane (metaphysics).
Others conceive of an individual or collective (Jung) higher self that speaks in the silence.
Others conceive of nothing beyond the material realm (scientific humanism).
But whatever we do, or don't, conceive God/Spirit/Source - or the underlying nature of the
material realm to be - the first step to developing the long-term habit of successfully using
the principles of possibility thinking (or intentional creation) is getting in touch with the
inner voice, whether it be an elevating Presence or force, or simple human intuition.
Whether or not we are aware of it, we all create (influence material reality), corporately
and individually, all of the time.
If we intentionally tap into our own inner knowings (whatever their source), we gain
valuable insights.
Western culture has taught us to disallow, even to tune out, those knowings or intuitions
that, as Gavin DeBecker documents in his book, The Gift of Fear, can even save our lives.
Whether we conceive of those knowings as originating in a higher spirit or force or our
own inner (or unconscious) selves, those knowings can help us successfully navigate
the decisions we make about present realities.
These sessions will address learning to hear that accurate inner voice (whatever its
source).
You will learn how to discern the difference between intuition and fear or worry.
These sessions will also address differing perspectives on free will and
predestination/karma, influencing current reality (individually and corporately), social
stratification and questions of justice, and the personal benefits of practicing forgiveness
and sincere concern for the well-being of others.
You will learn how to tune into knowing, on purpose, just because you want to.
